What is Mail Informer?

It is a simple and effective way to help improve sales and build the customer relations essential to a well–run business.

How does it do this?

Email marketing builds images and text within the email itself – so using Mail Informer means your recipients do not have to open attachments to see the messages you want to put across. Just like a printed flyer but without the printing costs.

By sending out regular well-designed communications to an audience of customers and prospects, you will keep your business and your brands prominent and available. By placing links to your email address or to downloadable documents in a newsletter, even more information is just a click away.

Mail Informer uses powerful systems to deliver mail to hundreds of addresses all at once, it can handle much more information that most office PC’s and networks. We manage the process from design to proofing back to you to final delivery – freeing up the time spent packing and addressing and posting mailshots and cutting out a lot of postage costs.

How Mail Informer works – step by step

Step 1

You sign up for an account and we design your newsletter’s visual theme to suit your business or activities, and to promote your branding. We will need your logos in a suitable form and the correct text for address and telephone numbers. A short description of what you do, and a key phrase that we can use as a headline.

This is what is covered by your setup and joining fees.

We can write your wording for the email template design and we offer a full copywriting service to cover all your newsletter requirements – call us for more details.

You can order extra designs for themes to use in your campaigns, for seasonal use or to carry special branding, as and when you need them – ask to see some eye-catching examples.

These will then be available to use again as often as you like.


Step 2

Using your theme we then create your email campaigns.

Each campaign can feature a single product or service, or multiples of them. We add them using your photo’s and text. The charges are shown on our prices and service guide. You can send out as many campaigns as you like as often as you like. Each one will be proofed to you for checking.

For an additional cost we can link to a downloadable document, such as a printable order form or detailed specification sheet or a printable flyer. We can design these so they are suitable for printing out by your emailed contacts or can be used for postal mailing activities. There is a design charge for doing this. You can also supply the documents for us to link your emails to.


Step 3

We upload your mailing lists to your Mail Informer account, and send out your campaigns.

Suitable formats for your list are Excel documents consisting of your mailing lists. Please read our Terms of Use to learn more about mailing lists.

We can create separately titled distribution lists to cover different interest groups such as: Administrators; Teachers; Car drivers; etc. You can then target your campaigns at special parts of your customer base or you can decide to send to all.


Step 4

Your Mail Informer campaign is sent and we compile a report of how many recipients opened their mail, clicked on the links or forwarded to colleagues using the built-in forwarding features. We also provide the numbers that could not be delivered, or those that unsubscribed. We then send you the report.
